I am the Founder of Buzz Media and Buzznet.com a Hollywood based media company backed by Redpoint Ventures, Anthem Ventures, Sutter Hill, NEA and UMG. We are making music and pop culture super social on the web.

Previously I assisted several great friends and entrepreneurs start very successful ventures: TROON a boutique agency with James Yaffe which we sold in 1998; Craig Newmark a small mailing list called craigslist.org and Scott Yara a media distribution platform turned data warehousing data engine called GreenPlum.

I also held a positions at USC Cinema Television & Digital Arts program where I worked with Dr. Weinberg establish a world class digital animation studio and Time Inc. Interactive where I managed the web design, technology and publishing of Time Inc’s titles like Time, Fortune, People, Teen People and EW.

TBWA/Chiat Day and Absolut Vodka added me as digital technical and creative consultant from 1998 to 2000 to continue work on Absolut Vodka’s award winning digital media strategy.

I was awarded a Communication Art’s Interface Design award in 1997 from my work on Absolut Vodka.

I am also a part-time solipsistic philosopher, a music & pop culture anthropologist, an occasional warm water long board surfer and father of two little girls.   Daily I try too lower my carbon foot print and volunteer with the Boy and Girls Club of America in Santa Monica, CA.
